i cannot emphasize enough how painful the “almost better” phase of burnout recovery is??? i WANT to work! i’m READY to make stuff again i can see shapes of ideas through the veil, but i can’t SEE them, and trying to do stuff anyway feels like attempting embroidery with oven mitts on.

The United States is tearing itself apart, and the occupying forces have made it clear that queer folk and minorities have no stake in this new world. Nearly a century and a half ago, a trans man for the Union sent his own response to that sentiment in lead.
