Leon Botstein told the Bard Community that Leon Black donated $250,000 after they met in 2012.

Yet, this email isn’t from Leon Black. It’s from Jeffrey Epstein. For the same amount, during the same time period Botstein said.

So who really donated to Bard? And why try to hide it?

Cool that people are covering this again. Would be cooler if they’d bothered to read any of the existing work on it (i.e., you know, mine) before getting basic stuff wrong.

I am a Simon’s Rock alum, I have been trying to reach out to my contacts in admin about this and I haven’t had any response @musicologyduck.bsky.social
I have it on good authority that the Bard administration is simply trying to not acknowledge the pressure including that coming from its own student community, as they did in 2019

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

personally I think if a story about an illegal war and kidnapping leaks to you should publish it.

The election Nazi tattoo guy wants to run in isn't until November 2026, maybe people defending him including but not limited to Bernie fucking Sanders could devote their time to finding a candidate without a Nazi tattoo. That they kept for 20 years knowing it was a Nazi tattoo.

A Nazi owns Twitter, right wing billionaires own the Wall Street Journal and the LA Times, and CBS is run by a right wing nepo baby who just fired one of the network’s biggest stars for criticizing Donald Trump. Here’s why America has a left-wing media bias problem.

I don’t care if he doesn’t back this up with further action, in a normal time, this is a major scandal, showing the president of the United States has nothing but contempt for the first amendment, basic rights, and his fellow citizens and will act accordingly in various ways.

I almost can't believe that Elon Musk's AI called for the extermination of the Jewish people yesterday, and today not a single Congressional Democrat announced they were leaving his media network.

A party that often claims to act against antisemitism didn't do jack shit about straight up Nazism.

I understand most people don’t want to leave X because that’s where most other people still are.

That just means that it’s a collective action problem; it can be overcome with organizing that brings people together towards non-cooperation.

If we can’t even get off X, how can we stop fascism?

weird that jamelle pointing out that the reporters didn't do their due diligence and were platforming a eugenicist violates social media standards

We should all be disgusted by the flood of anti-Muslim remarks spewed in the aftermath of Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the NYC mayoral primary — some blatant, others latent.

Shame on the members of Congress who have engaged in such bigotry and anyone who doesn’t challenge it.
Attacks on Muslims flood mainstream after Mamdani win
Openly racist rhetoric has become normalized at the highest levels of American politics.
