It's crazy the emulators you can get on a modern smartphone. Anything newer than like a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will do Switch!

Now we just need a portable controller that actually folds up well and we'll fully set

I heard there was a Cohen song,

And all the Christians got it wrong,

But you don’t really get the meaning do ya?

‘Cause you see its about getting laid,

It’s sex, and love, and Jewish faith,

But all the gentiles heard was “hallelujah!”

Only just occurred to me that in The Lord of the Rings, depending on your perspective re: Gandalf and Bombadil, the Ring is offered to progressively weaker and weaker characters as the book goes on, and the weaker the character, the more critical the moment

A friend who teaches theology shared with me a post about CS Lewis's Mere Christianity, which discusses foundational Christian logic across denominations. It reminded me of Dale's tweet below, and I wanted to share some thoughts here regarding modesty and respectability, which are often hot topics.

Air Riders is fun.

If it suffers from anything, it's that modern fidelity makes game fields unreadable, especially at high speeds, which this game is very about

The city trial map is genuinely hard to navigate as a result

As a g̶a̶m̶e̶r̶ silicon design engineer, it's at least very funny that a bunch of accountants will apparently believe GPUs live for 6 years at full tilt
Fantastic long-form analysis of how, without exactly lying, NVDIA is concealing the fact that they have saturated the market for their products, their customers are paying slower, they’re fudging depreciation in their favor, and it’s all a circular stack of cards.

X rolled out a new feature overnight showing where accounts are based. This network of “Trump-supporting independent women” that claimed to be “real Americans” are based in Thailand.

The photos were stolen from European models & posts pushed pro-Trump lines while targeting Islam and LGBTQ people.

1) good, they should be prosecuted, they are responsible for countless deaths

2) always very funny when these people realize the extent to which their billionaire patrons could not possibly give less of a shit about them

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.
