Conversion to MMCX went pretty well. The connector is a bit loose, so I might need to find a better anchor than silicone adhesive.
Ended up having to replace the drivers with some spares I had. This of course opens up the possibility of buying a bunch of drivers on Ali and experimenting lol

I have these IEMs (RHA T20i's) that I really like, but I got them used years ago, and the wireform ear guides were kind of nasty and brittle, and last week they broke. (The headphones themselves are steel, so the wires take a lot of stress)

So I ended up doing it in Python, lol. awk and sed have a weird regex syntax, and I'm not good enough at perl to write that one-liner, lol.
I use Xonsh as my shell, so it's actually possible to do this in one line, but this is the most portable probably. You'll have to fill in the regex and file.
