You may have seen this video of a woman shooing away two ICE agents with a bat go viral. It's fake, an AI-generated video. Here's how you can tell and how to fact-check similar content:

"we've done a lot of damage" to WHOM?

I'm reminded of @alexfalcone.bsky.social's video on robots/AI: bsky.app/profile/alex...

"Who's telling us that robots are inevitable? The robot salesmen."

"It's like if a bunch of hat makers told us that we just had to accept the inevitability of hats..."

Her name was Renee Good. She was only 37. She was a mother of a 6 year old child. And today in Minneapolis, MN, an ICE fascist shot her dead point blank.

Sending all my love to her child and her family.

Abolish ICE. Abolish fascism. Abolish tyranny.

Dude, you're a senator. Do something!
Now, Trump threatens Greenland, Colombia, and Mexico.

Where is the line? When will Republicans find a spine to say this is ridiculous and dangerous?

Please stop assuming the military turns people MAGA.

Compared to a similar civilian demographic sample (80% male, 70% white, drawn predominately from the south and Midwest), veterans skew LESS conservative, not more.

Where you grew up is a bigger factor in shaping your politics than what you do.

Great, you made a statement! Now, maybe you can stop calling it "bipartisanship" every time you fold to the Republicans. Are you ready to actually stand up and protect America yet?

Out of ~60,000 Somalis in Minnesota, 85 (.01%) have been criminally indicted

Out of ~4000 people in the Trump regime, 215 (5.4%) have been criminally indicted.

Thats a ~40X higher crime rate

Not qwhite sure why the people who ignore Trump indictments want you to be upset about Somali indictments🤔

Eternal shame.

It's streaming on a Canadian website, but there is no telling for how long.

Consumers don’t know if their medications came from factories that used dirty water, were infested by insects or birds, or were outright banned from shipping drugs to the U.S.

Our new app provides answers that the FDA won’t.
Rx Inspector: ProPublica’s New Tool Provides Drug Info the FDA Won’t
We’ve launched a first-of-its-kind app to help you find out where your generic drugs come from and see the track records of the factories that made them.

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.
