don't think i've plugged #gomiasto in a while, not on here anyway. it's A FUN GAME where you have to guess a place based on distance and direction. there's a uk version, as well as usa, and manchester metrolink, which is far too difficult to be fun. rlychrisg.github.io/GoMiasto/

It's wild but not surprising that last week the White House was leaning into "these seditious Democrats dared suggest that troops were receiving illegal orders!!!" and this week they are scrambling to figure out who to blame for issuing illegal orders.

well tbh my two syllable cursed 2029 election prediction, that labour would form a govt with the tories, is far less likely. they wouldn't have enough seats between them.

then ed davey zooms in on a skateboard, laughing.

If Stranger Things was remade today and set the same number of years ago as S1 it would be in 2003 and instead of a resurgence of a Kate Bush song it would be Hoobastank, the kids would dress up for Halloween like Neo and Trinity. No I can’t prove this is actually correct I am not going to do math.

Reform can't even run Kent county council but thankfully Starmer is here to help by doing the equivalent of putting the little side barriers up on the bowling lane, making sure the infrastructure is primed and ready for the handover to the fascists.

Similar to the House of Lords watering down the ERB I am actually shocked at the utter lack of serious interest in this from the media compared to what the Chancellor said to the OBR, this is a major constitutional development!
Scrapping trial by jury for sentences up to 3 years is the kind of thing that, if proposed by, say Donald Trump, would have the very people who brought Starmer to power fuming about demagoguery and degrading democratic norms

you can complain about the greens' fringe ideas all you like but they are supposed to be coalition partners. we know we're left of your average voter and we just want a parliament that reflects us all. don't get mad at over performing eco socialists, get mad at woeful moderate parties and FPTP.

Nick Fuentes has been working overtime to sanitize his image and present himself as a uniter of the left and right. Very clearly using language often associated with the left.

This is part of a larger effort by the anti-Zionist antisemitic far right to recruit people on the left.

Last Green Party conference when we passed our desegregation of trans healthcare motion.

Not vague commitments to trans liberation, but actual policy that would address issues facing trans people.

5 people online and 0 in the room voted against, plus no speeches against out of 1000s attending. 1/4
🚨 BREAKING | Your Party has voted to enshrine trans rights into the party's founding policy documents.

Two motions, which both passed with a supermajority (with 10,000+ people voting) committed the new party to explicitly supporting "trans liberation".

Stupid ass performative cruelty government. What does this achieve, other than dehumanising refugees more? It doesn't help Labour, it treats refugees (even children!) like criminals...Like???

feeling a bit rough so i'm on a tap tempo site trying to see what sort pulse i have. it was 110 but i'd just done a bunch of stuff so i chilled for a bit, put my hand to my neck and it seems just as fast as before. tap it out and it says 82.

this is why drummers laugh at guitarists i guess.

The irony is, PIP is *supposed* to help us to lead a more "normal" life. Being disabled in an ableist society has a financial burden. PIP is intended to alleviate that.

But the moment it shows any sign of working they try to take it away because "you're not suffering enough."
If I was on PIP, I would be worried that every single "good" day would be used to push me into poverty. I would probably never leave my home. I suppose, really, that's half the point.

Remmeber folks; the only 'victims' of Trans Liberation are supporters of the Patriarchy.

So called 'Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminism' is just the Patriarchy repackaging oppressive and hegemonic gender in a bid to keep the system of Patriarchy alive and well. Don't fall for their lies.

when trauma is just an accessory to validate your hateful cause, it doesn't take much to shape it into a weapon.
I thought I could not be shocked by what prominent transphobes feel able to say about me. Turns out I was wrong.

Here is Richard Dunstan, a prominent commentator closely associated with the Sex Matters charity, speculating that I enjoyed being sexually assaulted as a child.
