Pointing to something on literally every page that's happening now has really been getting to me.

And there are still people who think we're just "on the way" to fascism.

I think we can all safely assume that none of us have been exhumed by a man in 1950s Wisconsin.

But some of us have actually been through real shit with real consequences.

I want to explain why for people who may not have experienced it, but I'm also not going to for people who may have.

Just because I've been through it and can talk about it matter of factly doesn't mean other people can and, even with the trigger warnings, it was way past what I expected.

Possibly - hopefully - a niche trigger warning, but if you've ever been almost murdered by a man with a butcher knife then I would avoid the latest Ryan Murphy release.

I was able to get through the scene by using my coping mechanism of repeating it's not real, but it was unnecessarily realistic.

If I walked in somewhere and saw my face on a missing poster, I would assume something bad was about to happen. That would trigger the fuck out of my trauma.

The deportation order is based on Vedam’s conviction for murder—a crime he did not actually commit and for which he’s now been wholly exonerated. He entered the US at 9 months old and was a legal permanent resident before his conviction. We are so, so, so far from the light of justice.

It's remarkable how believable that could be for someone who doesn't know what to look for (the fact that everyone and everything looks like it's made of Play-Doh, completely smooth with no texture, sight lines being wrong, etc). Especially from people who want to use it for clout.
