Green Party policy is to remain in NATO and seek reforms to it, and also to try to deprioritise a sole reliance on NATO (US influence is problematic) and e.g. develop other defensive alliances such as European one

The Renters Rights Bill has finished going through the House of Lords and will soon become law - great news that renters will now get the basic protections they desperately need

Absolutely terrifying - the government is leaving communities utterly exposed to the effects of the climate emergency. We urgently need a plan with binding targets for how this govt will protect us as extreme heat and flooding worsen in the years ahead.

Yesterday, many Palestinians (some children under the age of 18) who had been held without charge & denied their basic rights by the Israeli government were finally released

But thousands more remain in arbitrary detention under appalling conditions and must not be forgotten
