There's a kind of guy who cannot *stand* a partner's success, particularly in a field that they wanted to be successful in but aren't, for whatever reason. This guy is the avatar of all those guys. Dump him from a large height.

If you have a partner who does this, DUMP THEM. This isn't "uwu I was worried about you, baby🥺" This is a scheming asshole move to control you. He wants you to be a good tradwife and take care of babies and make dinner, not write YOUR stories. REMOVE HIM

It’s hard to not see the Netflix/WB news as a sort of doomsday scenario. The constant mergers and large scale absorptions of brands might be good for business, in theory, but they are bad for art; they are bad for creators; they are bad for preservation. Which makes it bad for us.

Twinkle in Your Eye Tuesday: Time to buy a copy of IF YOU KNEW ME for the holidays.
Changed the tuning on my acoustic guitar to DADGAD a few weeks ago and lord, but it's opened up a whole new world to me. Been coming up with little riffs and basics of instrumental tunes. I'm certainly not a song-writer, but when I play these, I can hear what they want to be in my head. 1/2
