Incredibly brave. Imagine the faceless bores the BBC will have making their programmes if they continue down this path.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

It's only been five years, but it's amazing how quickly we've forgotten that the people who really affect ours lives positively are medics, farmers, shop workers, etc, and not entrepreneurs, billionaires, etc

My dad, who I didn't think was stupid, appears to have become radicalised. He was parroting populist views when I met him today and I couldn't believe it. It's not just idiots who can fall prey to years upon years of repeated messages in the media. Scary and dangerous times.

'Gerrymandering' is such an obscure term, & the German 'Wahlkreisschiebung' (constituency foul play) not much better. I'm not sure voters know what exactly it is, or where the manipulation. This cartoon by @deadder.bsky.social, however, illustrates it perfectly. I'll use it regularly from now on.
