Woman comes to US at age 6. Graduates nursing school. Work permit. No criminal record. Snatched and imprisoned by ICE for 6 months now. About to be forced back to Honduras. A life destroyed and one less nurse. Merry Christmas.

I see people looking at this and saying it’s because Denmark’s health care system is better than the US’s and so we need vaccination more than they do, except fuck that entirely. That itself is an antivax view. This article makes clear that Denmark is a weird antivax outlier even in Europe.

I believe this is the first court filing to cite WH chief of staff Susie Wiles' admission to Vanity Fair about President Trump's "score settling." It's used in support of Abrego Garcia's vindictive prosecution claim: www.courtlistener.com/docket/70476...

The only pictures of Donald Trump looking relaxed and happy are with Epstein. They were best friends. It was probably the only emotionally intimate relationship Trump ever had.

Nenko Gantchev should still be alive—home with his family. After 30 years contributing to Chicagoland as a small business owner and taxpayer, ICE detained him, ignored his medical needs, and he died in custody. This system is cruel, reckless, and must be held accountable.

If the president is a probable child rapist he should maybe be impeached, I don’t know.
Breaking:

Rep. Ro Khanna says the Trump DOJ's production "does not comply with" the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Khanna says he and Rep. Thomas Massie "are exploring all options" — including impeachment of DOJ officials, inherent contempt, or referring individuals for obstruction of justice.

I don't think we are obliged to take people of any opinion who have this sort of relationship to empirics seriously. It's just that simple, Yglesias is a troll and we shouldn't take anything he says seriously.
matt & co’s theory of how public opinion on immigration would respond to new information was simply empirically wrong.
at this point the only reasonable conclusion is they refuse to update their priors w/ new data because the data is inconvenient for them

Funny animal videos no longer being trustworthy just fucking sucks all around. I love the wonder of animal behavior and what it says about the experience of being alive. It's because it happened in reality that it's so fun. It's not fun if it was just made up. There's no wonder there.

Like renaming the Defense Department the "War Department," the name of the Kennedy Center has not been legally changed, because Congress has not changed it-->
