Trump's antisemitism envoy: "It is utterly inappropriate to compare Anne Frank to children hiding from ICE. This demeans the experience of those who died in the Holocaust."

Actual Holocaust survivors in Florida: "This reminds us of Anne Frank."

That's correct. Including the Founders.

Abolish ICE and fire all agents is the moderate position.
I just got tear gassed along with thousands of union members, many of whom had their families with them. Federal agents at the ICE facility tear gassed children. We must abolish ICE, DHS, and we must have prosecutions. I expect to see enforcement of our city code prohibiting the use of tear gas.

6. Weiss presents her mission at CBS as restoring trust by elevating centrist voices, which is accurate enough if we understand "centrist voices" to mean "the type of men likely to hang out with Jeffrey Epstein."

It's all so "she made me do it" blaming the victim, and this iteration closely echoes a previous admin. one. Rhetoric justifies bloodshed in this frame, and his rhetoric uses the passive tense/vagueness to avoid saying 'we will shed blood.'
Homan: "I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March -- if the rhetoric doesn't stop, there is gonna be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die."

The administration is insisting that its masked goons are so emotionally stunted that words can launch them into a murderous rage.

The violence in this administration is not a policy preference, it is a fatal poison that is leaking up out of the internet cultural circles its leading figures have chosen to immerse themselves in.

I'm starting to think the Trumpist mastery of propaganda is failing them. The DHS agents posing this way makes it look like they're ashamed of themselves.

Unfortunately it’s impossible to have more than one competent vizier. Vizier competence is a fixed number, equally divided among all viziers present

Two viziers are comic sidekicks, the recommended maximum. Any more become bumbling henchmen. One vizier is cunning but will always plot against you

It is literally false that the Jews being hunted by Nazis were citizens, because the first step toward genocide was stripping them of citizenship and making them stateless. As Arendt reminds us, citizenship is a legal category created to facilitate a machinery of exclusion of the out-group.

Well, three people roughly in the shape of reporters.

But three!
