Remember the incident where DHS claimed officers shot a guy because he attacked them with a snow shovel?

Yeah. It didn't happen. They shot him through the door of his own home. And then arrested him. And then lied about it. Again.

And they almost shot some kids in the process.
They just blindly shot through the fucking door.

"Additional photographs show damage consistent with a bullet fragment lodged in a bedroom wall down the hallway — suggesting it traveled between a mattress and a portable crib in a room where several small children sleep."
"Photographic evidence from the shooting scene of a Venezuelan man by federal agents last month in Minneapolis supports the account of witnesses there – and appears to undercut the narrative provided by federal officials." www.startribune.com/ice-raids-mi...

This is absolutely insane: DHS claims the right to subpoena your emails and to send investigators to your house. In this case, because a retiree sent the mildest possible criticism to a prosecutor. No judges involved.

Homeland Security is targeting Americans with this secretive legal weapon
Under Trump, the Department of Homeland Security has weaponized administrative subpoenas to attack free speech, according to privacy and civil rights groups.

Not the main point, but what the FUCK is this?

Jonathan Ross didn't kill Renee Good––his gunshots did. Most egregious case of Cop Passive Voice I've seen yet.

I hadn’t known this. Two men who were accused of sexual abuse on the Shitty Media Men document that I created back in 2017 reached out to Michael Wolff for help as they looked to sue me, and Wolf forwarded their concerns to Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein offered to help. www.jmail.world/thread/EFTA0...

Interesting read: the data suggests in short that the money people are spending on doordash is money they would otherwise have spent at restaurants, not on groceries - grocery spend as a proportion of income is up.
DoorDash Discourse is entirely wrong.

Since the pandemic, percent spending on groceries are up, food away from home is down, and this is especially true for young people. Trends point to food affordability being a real problem.

I think Ms. Bondi is increasingly aware that if she doesn’t get a pardon she will die in prison, and her pardon depends entirely on the goodwill of someone who’s entirely capable of screaming “why should I do anything for you when you wouldn’t put Peekaboo James in jail like I told you to”

I’ll focus on the least significant of these: Melania. There is zero chance anyone at MGM could have thought this would make its money back. Keeping it in theaters for a second week is the definition of good money after bad and suggests they have arm-twisted exhibitors.

DHS said that the woman CBP shot in the chest in Portland was “involved” in a gang shooting.

Her ~involvement~ was that suspected gang members sexually assaulted and robbed her.
After Border Patrol shot two people in Portland, DHS claimed they were "vicious gang members" tied to a past shooting.

But records I obtained reveal a US prosecutor has since directly contradicted DHS, saying, "We're not suggesting he is a gang member." My dive into how DHS' claims have collapsed:
DHS’s account of two Venezuelans shot by border patrol falls apart in court: ‘A smear campaign’
Immigration officials said agent shot two ‘vicious gang members’ in Portland, but records obtained by the Guardian reveal US prosecutor contradicted claims

1) that's bobby kotick talking to epstein with the idea to make loot boxes do this, and then pablos holman replying to epstein

2) valve didn't invent loot boxes, but added them to tf2 in 2010, 3 years before this email.

I’m convinced this is why they killed covid aid so quickly

It was breaking the narrative of government inability
How many times in your life have you heard a member of Congress or someone on TV say “we can’t afford it” when talking about something small but very important? It’s been happening my entire life. We can’t afford it? They’re putting seven times the annual budget of the EPA into immigrant detention.

If true, this would be one of the least surprising turns of events in the history of events turning.
I have spoken with several senior FBI counterintelligence officers who believe that there is a reasonably strong prospect that Tulsi Gabbard is a foreign intelligence asset.
As you read WSJ's piece on the super-secret abuse complaint about Tulsi Gabbard, remember that she tried unsuccessfully to wring counterintelligence function away from FBI last year.
