I really can't believe we're letting him do all this.
We should have a blue ribbon panel look into what we can do about the Supreme Court and then not do any of it

This is a case study of what happens when one side lets go of an issue while the other one keeps hitting it.

Democrats could've made Minnesota about standardized uniforms for law-enforcement and nipped all this masked hooliganism in the bud.

Instead, somehow, Charlie Kirk gets to be about comity.
Where’s the CBS News town hall focused on the Democrats assassinated in Minnesota?
Bari Weiss has a CBS town hall set with Erika Kirk, widow of Charlie Kirk.

If you want to attend, you're asked a series of questions on an online form.

The first question is: “Do you consider yourself a conservative? If so, why?”

"Righteous strikes." "Entirely lawful."

Thinking about this as absolutely nobody holds anybody accountable for murdering people with the military.
Trump, speaking to military leaders, on Democrats: "They're bad. A lot of bad people."

Way too many of you are building in 14 point margins for next year and counting chickens as if Democratic leadership doesn't have another year to fuck all this up somehow.

If I were petty, I'd go back and check all the people that yelled at me about ending the shutdown with nothing in return and see how they're doing today but fortunately for them, I'm not.
December 4, 2025 at 8:56 PM
Remember the argument for all these old people is that they're just too smart and politically savvy to be moved aside.
🚨 Sen. Angus King, who negotiated the deal to end the shutdown, tells me he no longer sees a path to extend ACA funds, citing GOP demands for tougher abortion limits. “The Republicans have made Hyde a red line,” King said. “And that’s not gonna work.” www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...

The legislation is all but guaranteed to fail next week, due to widespread Republican opposition, and become a key issue in the 2026 elections as insurance premiums rise.

People are out there gasping at the idea that this creep won't just automatically get to be president next, but remember Blue MAGA isn't real.

I've been accused of being a coastal liberal elite sneering down my nose at the unwashed real Americans of flyover country for years now, but I've never said anything as condescending as "you slobs need to dress up when you travel"

After a lifetime of working for them, giving money to them and voting for them, I just want democratsto start worrying about pleasing ME. But I'm always that girl in the meme while her boyfriend is staring at centrists from Wisconsin.
The Democratic establishment allows everyone to speak for them but themselves. The public doesn't really know what they stand for which is what happens when you're too worried about pleasing everyone.
December 4, 2025 at 4:50 PM
Has anyone asked the Democrats what all this stuff is distracting them from? Like would they have done something amazing by now if they weren't so distracted all the time? What are they working on exactly? Show us what's under the tarp, guys!
In other words despite all the talk about their incompetent leader, Senate Democrats like @booker.senate.gov has no desire to change the status quo and @chrismurphyct.bsky.social won’t offer anything more than strong words in his social media content. www.semafor.com/article/12/0...

"Defund the Police" became a rallying cry simply because the national Democratic Party had zero policy around law-enforcement reform, so activists filled the vacuum.

If the party doesn't want fringe groups speaking for them, it should start speaking for itself.
damn if only we had a national democratic party that could help mobilize these instead of a loose assemblage of leftwing groups that are mostly volunteer based and therefor prone to entryism from any fringe actor with money

Same. There was one instance of bullying that ended with the bully being socially ostracized.
My experience as well. So far we're 2-for-2 on kids having a largely bullying/abuse-free middle school experience. Not without bumpy spots of course, but light years away from what I endured.

My hot take: the anti-bullying stuff has really worked, which is why conservatives are pushing back at it.
for what it’s worth I got roped into helping out with my sixth grader’s extracurricular thing so I’ve had more recent contact with middle schoolers who aren’t mine than I usually do, and biased sample/biased reviewer/etc but my verdict is that the kids are all right

SCOOP: Sources tell me Donald Trump's name was added to the exterior of the US Institute of Peace building ahead of Thursday's peace agreement signing between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which will be held inside the building. Confirming if it's been officially renamed.

I will give an *extremely* limited defense of this in that a congressional stock trading ban probably should be coupled with a significant bump in congressional pay.
Rep. Roger Williams defends members of Congress trading stocks: "I think we gotta be careful that we don't limit Congresspeople to where they can do nothing ... from a financial standpoint, it's not easy being up in Congress."

Megyn Kelly on alleged war crimes: "I really do kind of not only wanna see them killed in the water, whether they're on the boat or in the water, but I'd really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out."
