Data is correct, causal agency is (IMO) incorrect.

The vast majority of ppl who use AI to make images and video have never touched and would never touch Photoshop/AfterEffects/Illustrator/etc. The issue is Adobe trying to squeeze its users with subscriptions, and other customer-hostile behavior.

America has a housing shortage. Every single housing proposal you see that is not "build more housing" will have the primary effect of pushing up the prices of existing housing, and is therefore, in reality, a plan to enrich current homeowners. In conclusion, build more housing.

This is gonna sound harsh but you gotta stop talking to these hicks out in bumfuck towns. I know these people. They know less than nothing, it all comes from newsmax and facebook. They live in a fantasy world and everything they have is because of the cities they hate. They aren’t real Americans.
NYTimes has truly outdone itself with this latest in its "ask white guys in diner" genre. Thank goodness we get a perspective on what's happening in Minneapolis from people in **Nisswa** who probably mean Brainerd when they say they "prefer not to go the city anymore" www.nytimes.com/2026/01/15/u...

Got an email from Shopify letting me know that our items will be on external AI storefronts soon. Asking their AI help page how to turn that off hallucinated a link, then hallucinated connecting me to a human. Made my own way to a human, they made me screenshot the email no one told them about.

And frankly, the moderate stance doesn’t go far enough at this point. Keep logs: license plates, names, faces. Hundreds of ICE agents need to be jailed.
ICE has only existed since 2003. A Bush-era creation, it is a militarized federal secret police that has been imbued with the Supreme Court with the unconstitutional power to ignore the fourth amendment.

Abolishing it and salting the earth where it grew is the moderate stance.

Silicon Valley’s alliance with Donald Trump was a mask off moment and showed the world we can’t depend on US tech companies.

For the past few months, I’ve been trying to get off US tech and I put together a guide so you find alternatives too. I hope you find it helpful!
