This is the entire incentive structure of modern day media in one post. Like Henry Ford said you could get his cars in any color you wanted as long as it was black, you can have any ideology you want as a commentator as long as you’re anti-Dem.
A left winger can get published in most mainstream media outlets as long as they come to the exact same anti-lib conclusions as most of the management and columnists

This is the entire incentive structure of modern day media in one post. Like Henry Ford said you could get his cars in any color you wanted as long as it was black, you can have any ideology you want as a commentator as long as you’re anti-Dem.
So there's a vote happening near me soon because the family who controls the most land in my city wants there to be a TIF to help fund him building a knock-off liberty-themed Disneyland in a state that isn't conducive to such things because of our snow.

The ACA isn't just "health care for people who don't have a conventional employer." It also disallows something that was incredibly common 20 years ago, which I fear is getting lost to generational memory: insurance companies could deny you health care for essentially any previous health problem.
I'm dubious about Amazon's commitment to keeping pre-existing conditions a thing of the past.

For those of you who think the so-called settlement from Anthropic is good, you should know they stole millions of works, but are only paying for novels. No shorts, non-fiction etc. And if you're a non-US writer, like me, you get nothing even with a US copyright because non-US authors don't count.
