Unpopular opinion: Billionaires are pyramid schemes foisted on the public by disconnected from reality, growth obsessed stock markets, VCs & 1%ers.

Nobody's business is worth more than the land value of the planet. But they can scam real fortunes out of govs etc if they claim that. That's the goal.

All we can say is "this shouldn't be happening!!!" - but we can't really say WHY, because almost no-one is brave enough to say "the status quo for undocumented immigrants was exploitative. our immigration system is unjust and non-functional, and these people should have legal protection"

Most doctors don't even mention it to patients & simply tell you to get a compression sleeve after, if it happens.

But you can do massages (MLD) with lymphatic massage specialists to help. Using skin lotion regularly, changing your diet & getting exercise can also help forestall/treat it. 2/2

If you have cancer surgery, you'll probably have lymph nodes removed to be tested.

Please talk to your doctor about what you can do to treat and prevent lymphedema. It's a distressingly common side effect of cancer surgery & treatment that can cause permanent swelling in arms and legs mostly. 1/2

For me, the turning point was back in ‘95 with the OJ Simpson trial. Saturation coverage for no other reason than 95MM people watched the freeway chase & network owners drooled over those kind of ratings

News exists to spike ratings & make money. Not inform or enlighten

ICE is now pulling from a pool of applicants who see televised images of sobbing children in handcuffs, or masked men in tactical gear roughing up Latino laborers, and don't recoil in horror.
The administration is also doing its best to send all the worst possible signals to existing agents, from every level of the hierarchy. The president ominously declares we are engaged in a "war within" - with domestic urban populations cast as the enemy combatants.

Just bc a book contains a protagonist between 10 and 30, especially a female protagnoist, doesn't mean it's YA. Just bc the book is written by a woman (or someone you incorrectly assume is a woman), doesn't make it YA. Just bc a book is fun, written colloquially, or has romance doesn't make it YA.
