This is a very common scam now, one of the many scams aimed at aspiring and new writers.

One tough thing for people who get abducted by ICE is that they have no charges against them, so nobody from the agency is attached to their detainment. They just get held up, roughed up, and robbed of their valuables for no reason until ICE figures that out, and then they get dumped outside.

I'm late, but this is the first confirmation I've seen of Waymo using foreign-based remote operators. Prior, there was only a rumored podcast ep, immediately cease-and-desisted.

Hey y’all. So. We are in an urgent and difficult situation. We have a storage locker for our belongings, but we can no longer keep up with the payments and have fallen behind. If we’re unable to cover the full $750 balance, everything in it will be lost in 2 days.

Disabled people don’t survive without community care. So for us to be considered worth surviving, that’s building a world where we all survive by supporting each other.
It should click for you how many who ask for mutual aid online are disabled. Disabled people are likely to be in poverty & isolation. Disability makes life under capitalism precarious. That’s why disability justice is intertwined with getting rid of capitalism & why mutual aid is disability justice.

There was a lot of people who had to work serious hours outside in the cold today for *that*? Sir you can pay people to humiliate you in the comfort of your own home. Spare us the logistics next time.

What you can expect to see from a cult(ure) of abuse.
Child abuse is a central plank in the conservative platform, because physical mastery of the weak is how they establish dominance, their only value. It's not just something a lot of conservatives do, it is part of being a conservative.
About the ICE agent who fatally shot a man on New Year’s Eve while off-duty:

A court document "says the ICE agent allegedly whipped his sons with a belt, made homophobic slurs and racist remarks about Black and Latino people and brought a gun to a youth sports game."

This is going to hurt so many people indirectly because healthcare folks are trying to pivot into telehealth or home visits right now to meet the need.

Once it's been weaponized they'll stop answering the door.
For those who don’t know, MaineCare is our Medicaid program, so they’re posing as Healthcare workers for low income people in our community. Truly despicable shit.
