There's just no rule of law anymore.

Why should federal prosecutors even do their jobs under these conditions?

I take Wikipedia for granted. Reading this Jimmy Wales interview reminded me in our Fantasyland age what a remarkable and important creation it is. True pillar of civilization. Runs on only $200 million a year. Requires our support. So I’m finally donating. Gift link: www.nytimes.com/2025/10/18/m...

I'm sorry, but all the replies and quote tweets on this reveal just how little people on Bluesky understand that most corporate work is rote, boring, and repeatable.

AI tools are great at automating bullshit.
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

The president is about to start a war for no real reason. All of the things he has blamed on the country he’s targeting — fentanyl distribution, “emptying the asylums” and sending patients to the U.S., alignment with Tren de Aragua— are provably, obviously false.

Lots of people are going to die.

Imagine spending years working long nights, sacrificing your time and health. Trying to manage your fear and live with courage as you prosecute a foreign head of state for his support of international drug cartels.

And then a few months later the president pardons him for no stated reason

@davidjroth.bsky.social I say this with all due respect to Ray Romano, but I think Ray Romano at MSG is exactly the correct level of celebrity the NBA Cup deserves right now. Playoffs are for Chalamet; Cup games are for Romano.

I was pretty young when I saw it but my main takeaways from You Can't Do That On Television were that the world is full of horrors and the median adult is literal ghoul

I think if Canada wants to have a strong cultural identity we need to go back to doing what we're best at, making the weirdest fucking TV shows you've ever seen

No. The Thing is a movie about a bunch of people who all distrust and hate each other trapped in one building as the tension between them slowly builds until it reaches a breaking point. It's a Thanksgiving movie.

Honestly good job kids with the 6-7. I didn't think modern times would have anything like the "satanic messages in backwards music" bullshit we grew up with but you guys have angered and confused the adults to such an extent that there's like a whole 6-7 media beat now. Respect
