This is burying the lede. They haven't just added a new difficulty setting, they have changed the base game and all difficulties. Stamina regenerates faster, fewer monster arenas, fewer monsters over all! This is a really substantial change from launch.

The only time I had jury duty in PA I spent the day before coming up with reasons I shouldn't get picked but the very first question they asked was "would you be more or less likely to believe a police officer than a civilian?" and I said less, way less" and they told me I could just go home lol
In the US, law enforcement isn't just legally allowed to lie to you, they're ENCOURAGED to. OTOH, your lawyer is legally prohibited from lying to you and can lose her license for it.

I like to consider myself not just a film buff but also an art critic writ large, I think I have taste and generally understand why popular things are hits and fringe things tend to miss. My largest cultural blind spot is gangster movies (men in suits doing grizzly violence to one another).
I've watched A LOT of gangster movies and, honestly, the ones that "glorify the life" are in a teeny-tiny minority. Most do show the ups of being a gangster, but ultimately portray the life as a kind of Prisoner's Dilemma of violence where your enemies come to you as smiling friends. Glorify my ass.

Mass Effect hit me pretty much the same way the late Harry Potter books did; I consumed them and found them to be boorish and low-brow and kind of mean-spirited and was absolutely shocked at how many of my peers praised it as an elevated work. Mass Effect romances are FUCKED UP, they are NOT GOOD!
i used to be a mass effect 1 was the best one guy then a no mass effects are good guy but i know in my heart of hearts id probably be a mass effect 3 is only good in multiplayer guy now. incredibly annoying
