While I agree this is upsetting; the most likely outcome here is that American higher education becomes irrelevant and no longer something the rich and powerful from other countries want their children involved with.
And with the poisonous culture in the US, that may not be a bad thing.

The Dem leadership — as demonstrated by their utter failure to defend democracy — only exists for the protection of the capital-owning class.
