The reason why this hurts so much is because every dubbing studio in the Los Angeles area has been hit with at least one wave of layoffs or a significant reduction in the amount of contractors that have been hired.

My god, this "dub" is atrocious....Amazon has done it's new low on doing AI dubs of anime as they went from FREAKING CITY THE ANIMATION which the dub is actually good to this disaster. Please support the official dub by Sentai Filmworks as Amazon can honestly screw off.

But once again, that's not the core problem here. The quality will inevitably improve, though I personally doubt to the quality of a dub made by actual humans who care.

If they have 90 shows and push out 10 AI dubs, they can start marketing “we have over 100+ shows!”
It’s not about quality, but the scope of offering. *Your* subscription money is used in part to fund it.
