The creative you saw/experienced/listened to 100% knows everything they fucked up, didn't get right, or totally whiffed on. Telling them that you enjoyed what they did anyway, especially now, can be the difference between them quitting forever because of all that and keeping going.

I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

Shell krijgt in Nederland elk jaar minstens 2,1 miljard euro aan fossiele subsidies. Dat zijn belastingkortingen, vrijstellingen en andere financiële voordelen.
