They know the words but not the music. When they “talk like artists” they make a mockery of artistic statements and this is no accident because they resent that their movies make a lot of money and don’t get critical respect too. Scorsese’s pithy putdown of MCU movies really stung them
Nearest I can tell, and going by rumors, they're alluding to the plot centering around all these kids in the teasers being threatened. But still no clue why that would make these something "other" than trailers. The Russos continue to embarrass themselves by trying to sound like artists.

The best thing about nobody buying tickets to Melania is you can just make up stuff that happens in the movie and people will believe you. My favorite part is when she throws up in her purse after the hot dog eating contest

Jobs are easy. Just get a job at your dad's sticker factory, or use your family's connections to go into politics.
Here's Doug Ford's surprising voicemail message to a public servant who expressed concerns about the Ontario government's return to the office policy:

“You don’t like it, go get another job”

The essential contradiction of modern conservatives: Armed to the teeth and determined to project authority ... but when people yell at them from the other side of a locked door they shit their pants in terror and start screaming for the local cops to come and save them.
Yes! Ha Ha Ha YESSS

I hope they pissed their pants. I hope the "local authorities" directed them to call for help just so they could have a good laugh when they did. I hope the restaurant staff spat in their food.

The wave of generative AI CEOs complaining people don't use their products is kind of disgusting. You pushed something the marketplace is rejecting and now you whine about it. What kind of capitalist are you? Oh, that's right, the deeply parasitical yet incompetent at convincing the host kind.

This is a huge crisis that we must do our part on by rejecting generative AI. The more it infiltrates our systems, the more fucked we are over time.
NVidia chief creep says resistance and scorn for AI have done a lot of harm. Good. Nice confirmation it's working. Keep it up. Although the main thing is this stuff is harmful crap so the mind and body tend to revolt against it automatically.

to me, George Miller, Frankenheimer, and Friedkin are the holy trinity of car chase directors. and McQuarrie, their heir apparent.
What's the single overall best car chase in cinema history? One that almost has everything you would want from a car chase?

It's not a bold or original answer, but I think I have to go with the French Connection

Or, Heated Rivalry only exists because of CanCon requirements. Otherwise CTV/Bell/Crave would have just imported another American show.
Just because it's successful doesn't mean that it isn't a product of the ecosystem it was created in.

This is exactly why the relationship between Canada & US is forever changed & ruined. Even if Trump goes, there's an entire establishment of Dems & Republicans who barely raised objection to so much of it. There's nothing left to trust.
I cannot tell you how absolutely infuriatingly this stuff comes across to Europeans.

When we say America is no longer a reliable ally, it goes considerably deeper than Donald Trump himself. This kind of complacent, condescending shit is a *huge* part of it.
