In 2020, Jim Ratcliffe moved his fortune to Monaco, saving himself an estimated £4 billion in tax.

In the same year, immigrants in the UK contributed around £20 billion in tax.

That says it all.

Old Etonian Nadhim Zahawi was sacked as Tory chairman for breaching the ministerial code, didn't stand for re-election because he was going to lose, even though his seat had been a Tory stronghold since 1950, begged Kemi for a life peerage but was turned down, then defected to Reform to spread lies.

The Today programme this morning interviewed Diana Furchgott-Roth, a senior staff member at the Heritage Foundation, about Trump's climate policies, during which she came out with the zinger: “a lot of people like it a bit warmer.”

How is it in the public interest to platform anti-science tripe?

Vox pops are pointless and misleading. If they have to be balanced then what do they prove? If they are not balanced they don’t give a variety of views. I speak as someone who was once asked why my vox pops from Clydebank (where I was born) didn’t seem to include any Conservatives…. Any guesses?
Vox Pops: yes or no?
Am obviously hating the way Radio Four, rather than binning vox pops on this and other issues, now just uses a few comments from Radio Five Live's morning phone-in. Cheaper, and saves a reporter having to stand in the cold recruiting jobless and retired passers-by. But it's still rubbish journalism.

I wonder how widely known it is that MAGA is actively spending American taxpayers' money in support of Reform and their agenda?
So much for sovereignty. Britain has arguably never been weaker or more powerless or less able to forge its own path.
“The myth of London as a third-world sinkhole is now central to Maga politics. Restoring Britain’s allegedly vanishing character is also an official goal of Donald Trump’s foreign policy.” My column. as.ft.com/r/5d92d208-8...

My old mum had just phoned me to bring me the important news that A VERY LARGE WALRUS has been spotted on a beach in Fife

Having now found a news article I can confirm this report is accurate www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/ar...
Walrus spotted having a rest near a coastal town in Scotland
Sightings of walruses in the UK are rare. Volunteers at a wildlife charity kept a close eye on the animal, which was seen in Elie in Fife, before it left the next morning.

7. The failure to change our disastrous electoral system, which might gift the UK to Reform on a small share of the vote, can, I feel, be understood as a matter of putting party over country and faction over party.

If people are going to make money from social media, it seems so wildly obvious that what can be broadcast by the platforms is regulated in the same was as TV is.
Hate-filled fake videos about London are everywhere. We've obtained a recording of a TikToker confessing to secretly filming Londoners in their homes for clicks.

He says it's not political. He just wants to make money from far-right anger.
