Who amongst us didn't sing Hitler youth songs and tell Jewish children they should go to the gas chamber?

Oh that's right, none of us did that, my mistake

So we've gone from "he never said anything Nazi" to "well he might have said something Nazi but not in a hurtful way" to "well okay he probably did say something Nazi in a hurtful way, but didn't we all?"

This is famously, famously the opposite of the truth in the USA. The are many years of evidence to show this.

Also, nobody said he was ‘himmler the fifth’ - they accused him of having been racist and not really changed.

These people are always inventing something to argue against that doesn’t exist in reality.
One admission of personal interest he neglects to mention is that he's a failed UKIP parliamentary candidate, so may have more than the passing acquaintance with Farage suggested here.

Every time I see some shill helping to flog a useless, toxic thing that nobody wants to the world, it’s Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon: "And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

Happy PRS figures day to those who celebrate.

Not much up not much down for me, which I should be grateful for I think.

I feel really sorry for the professional editors who had to work on this.

Assuming it was combed through frame for frame, even having to decide what to do with all the chaotically illogical backgrounds alone must’ve been so depressing. And the facial expressions.

I still see people, British people who actually exist, defending this government sometimes.

This statement appears to be untrue for 95-99% of British people convicted and imprisoned abroad
I would be interested to see the statistics per country per year behind this statement

People who talk about what a promising politician Wes Streeting is (mostly journalists) remind me very much of people who talked about what a promising politician Michael Gove was (also mostly journalists.)

Not as a result of Brexit, but as a result of the results of Brexit, you understand.
🧐 NBER study may have overestimated Brexit hit, apparently, because "a good deal of this effect will have been due not so much to Brexit as such, but the long period of uncertainty after the vote". 🤣

But that uncertainty was a predictable product of Brexit. Why should it be discounted? ~AA

Yeah, I just had to dig through the BBC liveblog, past analysis about her "partial victory", to find the bit that explains NHS Fife has been found to have mishandled some aspects of her complaint, but the actual complaint hasn't been upheld at all.
It’s maddening that I just heard this tribunal decision covered on BBC News, which led with “Sandie Peggie wins her case,” expanded with “Sandie Peggie secures a partial victory,” then only on listening further did it become clear she actually lost on most of the substantive points she was pursuing.
Decision in the Sandie Peggie case.

She was not directly or indirectly discriminated against, her claim of victimisation fails entirely, her claim of harassment fails largely and her claim against Beth Upton fails entirely. www.judiciary.uk/judgments/sa...

Almost all prominent transphobes appear to be right wing reactionaries who are the last to realise it.
then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

I don’t think it would happen any more that a right wing newspaper columnist would so openly play upon the idea that they were a professional troll. They take themselves far more seriously re the ideas today.
