Finally, an answer to why the nonsense company names!
It’s essentially because of trademark, both Western and Chinese. They know if they use something that infringes on a Western trademark, it’ll get taken down, so using nonsense is safer.

But also, Chinese trademark law bars trademark that is in any way descriptive.

This is an extremely alarming story. This goes much further than even Bondi's reversal last year of Garland's journalist subpoena policy, which I covered here: www.lawdork.com/p/bondi-reve...
The FBI searched a Washington Post reporter’s home as part of an investigation into classified material, people familiar with the matter said. It is exceedingly rare for federal agents to search a journalist’s home. trib.al/tKsg85n

r/AskHistorians has a good rundown. tl;dr, no evidence that it's actually a Nazi slogan (as you've noted elsewhere). However, one of the answers includes similar examples from a variety of adventure novels, etc., which I thought might interest you. www.reddit.com/r/AskHistori...

This. For years whenever I talked to people who said "universal health care can't work," I would ask why every other industrialized nation had it but we didn't. Are we just stupid? And they never had an answer for it.

Our government has worked overtime to create a nation of learned helplessness.
If there's one empirical insight I'd want everyone to understand about American politics, it's this:

America's problems are solved problems. Just not here.

What would change if the US simply matched the average of 31 peer democracies? Not Denmark or Norway. Just the middle of the pack. 🧵

It already is consistent with other law enforcement agencies, this is the problem
Q: Is it your posture to put restrictions on ICE as a condition for funding DHS?

JEFFRIES: Renee Good should be alive. There was no justification. There are common sense measures that need to put in place so ICE can conduct itself in manner at least consistent w/ every other law enforcement agency

Wonder what Ross' browser history shows about protestors and immigrants and ..groups
NEW: These are ICE agents removing evidence from the shooter's home. They are not DOJ, they are Jonathan Ross's friends and coworkers, not DOJ.

This agent removing Ross's personal computer was reported yesterday Jan 9 for boxing in a volunteer and telling them "I'll dedicate my next arrest to you"

it’s really important to have publications like People covering this because it’s going to get seen by so many people who don’t consume political media
People Magazine is incredibly clear eyed about ICE being a terrorist organization. I’ll probably buy a subscription because of it:
