This morning, after dropping two more kittens off for spays, I came home and saw who I thought was Freya on my front porch. You know, the one currently in my garage with two kittens? I about had a heart attack.
Until I realized the cat had a manx tail. It was Medusa. Freya's mama.

Freya had a litter of 5 under my porch in the freezing cold sometime Monday.
I was able to save two on Tuesday night (two had already succumbed to the cold and the third didn't make it through the night).
Then got mama into the garage Wednesday afternoon.
It has been a very long week.
