A pedestrian's POV of Toronto/Tkaronto/Torcondo.
It's a Barnum & Bailey world, just as phoney as it can be.

Let's all join hands while we circle both the drain & the sun ;)
Pinned
Been up 3 hrs & already had more drama than Netflix.
Was home invaded & robbed.
Sus', incorrectly ID'd as he, she is factually a murderous bitch, who has been eating our house, home & furniture, not figuratively, all summer.
The murder (manslaughter?) was of a baby pigeon under the deck. 🧵

Our Chanukiah is lit up for Night Six here in the Dominican Republic, but I’m sad to say that I’m not comfortable putting it in the window or out on the balcony.

That makes me very sad, but such is the world we’re living in now.

It's not only concept artists/ comic book artists affected, but children's illustrators are often left out studies/convos involving this.
My professional artists peers! We got a survey request!

Please, please. Your professor is begging you to read the papers that you cite.

Because of how often students are citing and referencing papers that don't exist from authors who I know their entire body of work, I've started just plugging them all into gScholar and the results are disheartening.

It's like the intersection of Stepford Wives & West World out here.
Amazon is reportedly in talks to invest at least $10 billion in OpenAI — a few weeks after OpenAI committed to buying $38 billion worth of capacity from Amazon Web Services.

These circular deals are a bright red warning sign of a bubble. Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wxBHxpMFXA

Sometimes I think about the fact that 50 Shades of Grey was apparently someone's repurposed Twilight fan fiction that they made millions of dollars off of.

As long as it ain't hurtin' nobody, put your stupid shit out in the world and if anybody tells you no do it anyway.

I was that person who nearly stopped drawing for several years and picked it up again and is now making a webcomic 😮

If you liked making art, this spark will always be inside you, you just have to take the time (and maybe have an hyperfixation 🤭) to rekindle with it! It’s worth it, I promise 🙌🏻💗

This is grotesque fear-mongering.

Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.
