interesting to see her leaning on the argument that pro-palestinian voices are unfamiliar with the relevant history, as if any amount of historical context could justify what's happening in palestine
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

It's just... it's torture porn invented for school shooter types.

The agents are acting out this alienated incel fantasy of being able to pluck perceived enemies from public space and roughly, physically demean and ritually humiliate them in front of a live audience of passers-by.
It's a campaign of terror.

Her terror (and the terror of entire communities, forced into hiding) is not incidental.

It is a product they are manufacturing, a key part of the spectacle for their intended audience.

Which is the terrorized, but also the terror consumers.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

I had a incarcerated penpal once ask me to print a copy of her prison ID photo and send it to her mother (who lived in another state and couldn't travel), who hadn't had a new photo of her in 20 years.
"From 1996 to 2018, the state prison system did not allow incarcerated individuals to take photos. The only pictures taken of us were yearly prison ID photos — mug shots placed on the state prison system website."
The Surprising Power of Getting Your Picture Taken in Prison
Illinois River Correctional Center allowed incarcerated people to have their photo taken in 2024. The change has brought hope to the prison.

As a pornographer myself, I feel... weird about creators who make distinctions between porn and other adult/sexual content. If you defend porn, your work will ALSO be defended. Don't be afraid to get down in the mud with us. You're gonna end up here anyway.
there is plenty of sexual content on steam. the problem isn't that valve is denying sexual content (though, as a near-monopoly, that would also be a problem) it's that valve is denying specifically sexual content that is non-pornographic, most notably in the horror genre.
It's pretty clear everyone would rather strawman me than have an actual conversation.

The content in Horses is sexual and well within Valve's right to say it violates their sexual content policies.

Horses has every right to exist. Valve has every right not to distribute it.

A lot of creators essentially saying "My work might contain nudity and sexual situations, but it's NOT porn. My work is important and artistic, while their work is dirty, which is still okay to hate and censor." But guess what! The purity squad makes no such distinction.

Its like nobody learned from seeing Libraries decimated by accusations of peddling PoRnOgRaPhY and its just, like, book with a queer couple.

There is nothing safe from being declared some crazy bastard's form of pornography. Find solidarity or be cut from your knees

Someone posted in r/fantasybooks about how amazing the books really are which felt like an effort to trigger me personally lol. If you read fantasy or scifi (as an adult) & Le Guin or Butler aren't in your top favorites, then you're a dummy. It's like comparing Frozen to any Ghibli movie.

One of the few people who’s been really holding it down was David Tennant, who’s probably lost plenty of opportunities because of it but it probably doesn’t matter if it’s the human rights of his kids on the line

"STRONG FLOOR, NO CEILING" is garbage

Here are some alternative slogans inspired by Zohran Mamdani's messaging that Dems could EASILY ride to national victory:

"AMERICA IS NOT FOR SALE"
"WE CAN AFFORD TO LIVE & AFFORD TO DREAM"
"WORKING PEOPLE OVER BILLIONAIRES"
"FIGHT FOR A NATION YOU CAN AFFORD"

Here’s the TPUSA version of events at OU.

Not surprisingly, they lie about what happened — she wasn’t flunked for quoting the Bible; she never even quoted it — and accuse the instructor, whom they name, as being “mentally ill”

If you’re in Central Pennsylvania, please help this elegant lady find a home!

Even by the standards of anti-woke journalism this is lazy dreck. The first piece of "evidence" that older gamers are mad about wokeness is a random Reddit comment — that isn't a complaint about wokeness.
