Later had HMRC say the scheme didn’t work? When you didn't know there *was* a scheme?

We’d love to hear from people ths has happened to.

Cancel your Spotify subscription.
In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

TV Show Idea: ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY
Phil Once is bitten by a radioactive spider which lets him duplicate people. He accidentally makes a copy of Lisa Shy, a girl he tried to chat up. Her memory is wiped during the duplication - does he have the courage to try and get with her again?

Just in case @youngvulgarian.marieleconte.com is too modest to repost it, the best portrait of Robert Jenrick you'll read is the one she wrote for @thenewworldmag.bsky.social back in October. Might be paywalled, but, hey, good journalism has to be financed somehow.

This opportunistic ‘saviour’ could kill off the Tories completely

Labour have secured a record breaking 8.4GW of additional offshore wind capacity.

The auction is the biggest in European history, with long term prices secured at about 20% lower than the maximum.

The sites, off England, Scotland and Wales, are enough to power 12 million homes!

sitcom about Khamenei going to Moscow and befriending the now-ophtalmologist-again Assad called Eye To Ay'
Tbf I imagine Khameini would probably enjoy this a lot. He’s said before that his favourite hobby is reading Russian novels

The coalition of the willing is spending too much time on hypothetical postwar scenarios and not enough on pressuring Russia to actually end its war on Ukraine.

Without that pressure, the war will continue and postwar plans will be worthless

Let’s play along…

Say the US did abduct Maduro because Venezuela was supposedly a terrorist narco‑state

Since when does that become a licence for the US to help themselves to the oil?
