For anyone who looks at my assortment of favorite teams and notices two Wisconsin football teams and Illinois for everything else, here’s a bit of an explanation.

QBR is in the same camp as PFF for me.
I don’t understand it and will often deny its validity, until my QB needs me to defend him to a stranger online.
Case in point, Jordan Love is 4th in QBR this season but the passing stats would not give you the impression that he’s top 4 in the league.

i fully abide by nfl passer rating and not qbr. qbr has too often turned up measurements that are just incomprehensible and espn has never fully explained how it works and is calculated. on passer rating: Sanders is lowest in the NFL. Gabriel has a significantly higher passer rating.
