This is still my proudest/favorite competitive Pokemon moment. That's not me, but it is my team with which Pytotoz got this incredible game first try. I cannot overstate how much Pokemon fans will enjoy this:

A federal judge, in a published order, so very much on the record:

“ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”

approaching the problem of "roving death squads" from an incrementalist point of view is just a slow form of suicide
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

Pam Bondi's conditions for Minnesota: 1) give us all your state data on your food programs, including SNAP 2) repeal all your sanctuary policies in the state (since it has led to "so much crime and violence") and 3) hand over your state voting rolls. Letter here: www.fox9.com/news/minneap...

The guns got turned. The message was sent. And MD never seceded.

Neo-confederates are cowardly losers, just like their confederate predecessors. And what Lincoln and later Grant understood was that if you refrain from doing something because of what the other side might do, you have already lost.

In response, Abraham Lincoln ordered the guns at Fort McHenry pointed at the city of Baltimore and the general in charge publicly stated that if the state seceded, he'd give the order to fire.

At the time, Lincoln was advised against it.

I think he should have given those *very specific orders* to the National Guard because it would force the Trump administration to act in response, and every procedural move you make forces fascists to do something in response.

An exceptional thread about how much better the AVERAGE developed peer country has it. This is STAGGERING data.

If there's one empirical insight I'd want everyone to understand about American politics, it's this:

America's problems are solved problems. Just not here.

What would change if the US simply matched the average of 31 peer democracies? Not Denmark or Norway. Just the middle of the pack. 🧵
