It’s kind of wild just how hypocritical they are but at the same time I’m also numb to it at this point. Everything they said was going to happen to them they’re doing to other people.

Q: We've seen images out of Chicago of federal agents shooting faith leaders with pepper balls and arresting journalists. Where's the limit for you on what's acceptable conduct by federal agents?

MIKE JOHNSON: I've not seen them cross the line yet.

I put these puzzle pieces together to show a larger picture of increased inequality and also economic uncertainty. As always, the inevitable crash will hurt those with the least the most. The richest will be able to weather the storm and will actually profit off the disaster.

Shit sucks.

People with the liquidity to move money into more stable assets to ride out the inevitable downturn will do so. Most people will not be able to do this which will devastate the middle classes retirement accounts. This is going to create and even larger wealth gap. 👎

Gold and Silver both hit record highs again this morning. Materials trading is a GREAT sign that people don't trust the power of the dollar. There is also growing reports that larger investors are increasing their holdings in material commodities leading to the run up.

This should worry you.

Amazon announced it will add 250k jobs during this holiday season. They are the sole optimist as traditional retail giants has said they will add less than 500k total, fewer than they hired in 2009.

While this may temporarily help the abysmal jobs numbers, these are temporary jobs.

Wall street bonuses last year averaged $244k per person. The average American makes about $63k a year.

WALLSTREET PAYS BONUSES THAT ARE 4X WHAT THE AVERAGE AMERICAN EARNS IN A YEAR.

This is end stage capitalism at it's peak. Their record profits mean that this will INCREASE this year.

This morning the Big Banks all announced record profits and revenue growth, beating guidance by BILLIONS of dollars in the case of Goldman Sachs with double digit increases in revenue from Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.

At some point we need people to understand that if they wanted to make an impact the easiest thing they could do is just go plant a native Oak tree on their property (if they have some or rent some)

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.
