Hey! Northern hemisphere folks:

this is my annual reminder to myself and perhaps also to you that if you have the schedule autonomy to permit it, get out for a walk or whatever during daylight hours! It's important!

You can work more when it's dark but you need whatever sunlight is available!

Counterpoint: Find your local ICE watch group, save their number, and call them. Better yet, volunteer yourself, hit the streets, and patrol.

We have seen far too many examples of police departments protecting ICE, even departments that have policies of not helping ICE.
Americans must call 911 and report each time the observe "masked men" attempting to abuse, assault, unjustly search or kidnap people in America.

lotsa folks (rightly) talking about Diane von Fürstenberg on here. I'm guessing (???) a lot of people assume she's like nobility by birth (nope, marriage) and don't know her family history of her mother literally fighting n/zis in WWII

Also, a tangential grievance, but I have never once in my life felt the impulse to put a book spine inward to display a sprayed edge, probably because I like to read a title and know where a book is on the shelf for some incomprehensible reason.
I don't give a good goddamn about stenciled edges. We come to this place for text, so gimme more.

okay well MATERIALLY: free housing for everyone.

CONCEPTUALLY: transness is a state of spiritual empowerment and freedom toward which we aspire.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

It's a losing battle, but I really want people to stop using the term "cabal" to describe Epstein's circle

The whole matter is already so tricky when it comes to antisemitism that adding an antisemitic term to your critique doesn't really help matters

But whatever, no one cares
