Full rights and citizenship actually means they’re not a “foreign labor class.” And that’s what he’s angry about. He’s mad citizenship is universal rather than restricted to white people like before the civil war bsky.app/profile/gbbr...

It’s entirely legal to record LE officers from your car. So they’re brazenly, illegally terrorizing this woman for exercising her constitutional rights.

Yet we know that none of these officers be held accountable. We know this administration encourages this behavior.

This is police state stuff.
This is just insane. It’s only a matter of time before DHS kills another innocent person here.

We need to talk about the rise of "smol bean fascism" where you have all the guns and the immunity but the really scary people are the ones with whistles and phone cameras and they're giving you generational trauma and ptsd by filming you killing people for no reason

There has been no deescalation. Not in rhetoric from DC or on the ground. This is a disgusting way to talk about a federal union worker who cared for veterans.
Ron Johnson on Minneapolis: "What President Trump laid out in terms of his requirements for deescalation I think the vast majority of Americans agree with. This is ginned up by the radical left. They've now got a couple martyrs. This is the predictable result of inciting people toward violence."

Had a terrific conversation with a longtime favorite comedians/commentator, and the founder of the ass-kicking investigative outlet 404 Media.

Also, Jon Stewart complemented my dog. Oscar has been strutting around the place ever since.
Jon, @radleybalko.bsky.social, and @josephcox.bsky.social are discussing the latest news from Minnesota and who’s really to blame for ICE policy on an all-new podcast, out tomorrow.

The toughest people these ICE/BP guys have ever encountered are a male nurse, a lesbian poet, some grandmas, and folks in little cars like a Honda Fit.

It's shattering their worldview and sense of self.

Wasn't supposed to be this way. The podcasters and X posters and supplement sellers said so.
I am just gonna say it, these guys are completely emasculated by the knowledge that they have been out-organized by a group that is significantly made up of women, and all the bullshit call of duty nonsense is cope for their wounded egos bsky.app/profile/jeet...
MAGA military geniuses are talking about Minnesota protestors like they are the Iraqi insurgency, the Taliban, and the Viet Cong all rolled into one.

Arrived in the country legally.

Applied for green cards.

Were arrested by ICE and detained.

One refugee who was arrested found out they got their green card after being released.

NEW: There are 2,400+ elections for DA & sheriff this year.

These matter hugely to criminal justice & policing—including: *these are often officials who decide ICE collaboration.*

So I took a dive into these 2,400+ races to identify early hotspots and battlegrounds.

Read, & check out our maps:

One of the lesser-discussed campaigns of the civil rights era was the one MLK led in Albany, Georgia, in 1962-1963.

The sheriff there, a man named Laurie Pritchett, was radically different from most sheriffs of his time and place. He actually studied the civil rights movement and took it seriously

Trump compromised the m-f Holocaust museum.
The US Holocaust Museum being more outraged by Tim Walz saying that, like Anne Frank, children today are in hiding from armed agents of the state, than they are about the fact that children are in hiding from armed agents of the state, is why Holocaust remembrance culture is in crisis.
