The internet is fast becoming so choked with this, it'll be unusable. We'll all be boats chugging blindly through the gloom and the muck, finding nothing, barely each other, uncertain what's true or even real anymore.
googled something and clicked a link to a website I'd never heard of that looked like a forum, read the discussion and realized the person asking a question and all of the answers were all LLM generated, the entire website was a fake forum pretending to be people asking/answering questions

Chasing the patriots on horseback in sequence 10 of #AssassinsCreed3 is so frustratingly hard I just ragequit that shit. The horse keeps getting randomly stuck on the path and the last patriot is out of reach from the get go. I did quite like the game until now but this fucking sucks.

If a publisher uses genAI "art" in their product then I make fair assumptions about their commitment (or complete lack thereof) to quality in every aspect of their #BoardGame from design and development to production.
I feel the clients now using GenAI to do stuff and going "good enough" when they used to nitpick at every last detail is due to them finding out all those nit picky changes take time and work they cant be bothered to put in.

So after we got over that whole McCarthyism crap in the 50s, we got the freedom of the 60s and the weirdness of the 70s and I just really hope I'm around to see straight men in makeup and crop tops and heels in 2040, dancing to Space Disco with long hair and mustaches once we're through ALL THIS.
