Today's video is my annual collection purge video, where I run through every game that has left my collection this year, and it was a big year for that. 60 odd games. Some were mid, some lost their place to other games, and others were downright terrible. Find out more here. youtu.be/oj-IJycctTg

Then don't make the game. It's a simple as that.

If a game needs to use a plagiarism machine to exist, it doesn't need to exist.

It's kinda hard not to assume things are AI when IT companies keep pushing in AI services unannounced and unremoveable.

And when people who run businesses say things like "we should remove AI tags from products" and "Ai will inevitably be in everything"

This isn't a high trust environment.
It's hard not to call everything AI when everything keeps being AI

Social media bans, cyberbullying, text bullying, crank calls, poison pen letters

Every generation we have a massive panic about kids having harmful or abusive interactions via the new media of the day

And we never ever EVER acknowledge the underlying attitudes and culture driving them

Just caught the NZ vs WI cricket result.

Amazing, that is why test cricket can never die. No other game tells stories like it does. People will talk about that 4th innings and double century for a long long time.

Nothing like hooking your house up with solar power to turn you into a sun worshiper.

"Oh mighty sun, rise high in the sky so I may fight off the devils that are the power bill by returning your bounty unto the grid for credits on my power bill."

"Mister sun, sun, mister gold sun" is now a hymn.

I've had IKEA shelves for years. I don't get why the nation is losing its mind over being able to buy IKEA finally, it's been available here for around a decade.

People seem to be losing their minds over very ordinary shelving units.
Oh great. He's gonna take credit for this too. Fuck Öff! #nzpol

FInished watching the cricket and flicked over to 1news, something I rarely do.

It was an advert for a music streaming service presented like a news story.

The fact the state broadcaster, who's purpose is to inform the public has to do this stuff because "neo-liberalism" is dire.

These guys feel threatened by Bandit (from Bluey) who unquestionably protects, provides and procreates without being an *sshole - simply because he plays with his daughters while his wife works.

Paul was the art lead on Shadow Moon syndicates and was an absolute joy to work with. Really creative and just a nice bloke. Folks might also know his art from GKR heavy hitters, and from tv shows and movies like the Expanse

My spicy RPG take of the day is after playing 3 D&D 5th ed campaigns including DMing one. I think 4th edition is just a far better and more interesting game.

It also feels a lot less busted. 5th ed, by the time you are hitting level 7, the wheels come off the system.

4th has the best combat.

Did you know it’s illegal to have a garden in New Zealand?
