i have about two million followers across three platforms. statistically, about 20,000 of you are in the top 1% in terms of wealth. if any of you feel like leaving me your home in a walkable neighborhood when you die, that would make for a very heartwarming social media story.

This video of Chicagoans intervening to save a man from being abducted off the streets by ICE is making the rounds on Instagram.

If “everything is an Xbox” then nothing is an Xbox. Especially when a device is $800 and a subscription is $360 a year…

This current American presidential administration is run by people who are quite obviously mentally ill, and we need to start talking about that.

This strongly reminds me of the international waters predictions made by @peterzeihan.bsky.social in his 2022 book “The end of the world is just the beginning”. I see that book as prophetic at this point.
WH has struck another vessel, killing three in Intl. waters, claiming it was transporting illegal drugs to the U.S.

If the U.S. can blow up boats in Intl. waters claiming they “might” be drug traffickers, then other nations (China, Russia..) could claim the same to attack vessels they don’t like.

I'd just like to point out how weird it is that places with hundreds or even thousands of reporters — the NYT, WaPo, CBS, NBC, AP, etc. — are all getting pummeled on every major story by the dozen computerboys at Wired. To fumble the bag this consistently is, at some point, cowardice and a choice.

Damon Albarn conceding that Oasis is better than Blur just makes me double down on my opinion that Blur is (and has always been) better than Oasis.

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people:

1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money
3) We won’t need a lot of troops
4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq
5) We’ll find WMDs
6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators
7) It will be easy
8) It won’t take long

All lies.

If macOS 2026 really drops support for iMac Pro, maybe that means Apple will release its successor in 2026 and is giving us an "incentive" to move over to the new device. I love that machine, but yeah, I'd be down for an M5 Ultra 32-inch iMac Pro next year...
