*Looks up the actors name*

Okay it is literally him! Go Erik Nielsen!

This They Might Be Giants TONIGHT SHOW performance of "Birdhouse In Your Soul" from 1990 remains firmly lodged in my noggin thanks to the Tonight Show Band's full commitment and Doc Severinsen's incredible trumpeting... It took an already great song and made it transcendent.

Lower Decks’ win is the first time in 30 years that a Star Trek story has won a Hugo Award.

The last one was “All Good Things” in 1995.

I’m trying to figure out the right way to say this, because: Look, the CPB closing is devastating, and I don’t in any way want to blow even a wisp of smoke that it isn’t. But twice today, I’ve seen people express how sad they are that all of public television and radio is over. Not true! (1/3)

Captain - Sisko
Helm - Ortegas
Ops - Data
Security - Shaxs
Engineering - Reno
Medical - The EMH
Pet - Porthos
Quote with your ideal 7-member crew made up of characters from any Star Trek show. They have to have distinct roles from each other (ie, not Picard and Kirk), but there's wiggle room, as you can see from how I used Spock. (Geordi could be helm or engineer, etc.)
Cpt: Pike (SNW version)
1st/science: Spock (TOS version)
Doc: Bones McCoy
Sec: Worf
Nav: Ro Laren
Eng: O'Brien
Tailor/Spy: Garak

Honestly if it could be done in Excel by one person, it didn't need a whole team of devs to implement it as a standalone feature.

Very sad news. A terrific writer and a wonderful guy to hang out with. A loss for us all.
Peter David's wife is reporting that he passed away last night.

A versatile writer of comics and prose who adapted well to many characters, he had been having severe health issues for a while.

I am glad that he was around, and wish the best to those who knew him.

I actually want to raise the stakes here a little: we are celebrating our nation's semiquincentennial in 2026. Not only should Philadelphia be hosting a sing-a-long screening of 1776, but we should invite the living cast members here for it: William Daniels, Ken Howard, John Cullum, Blythe Danner...
I am glad that Phila is showing movies on Independence Mall again this summer (Independence Day, National Treasure films), but what I really want is a return to what they had during the mid-00s when they ran Sing-A-Long 1776 showings at the Visitors Center with Rocky Horror-ish interactive elements.
‘Movies on the Mall’ returns to Independence National Historical Park for 2025 run
Looking to make your summer a bit more cinematic? 'Movies on the Mall,' is set to return to Independence Mall for some summer fun.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of the great Butch Guice. As an artist, as a storyteller, he had it all. I never saw anything less than a great job on anything he did.

Look at this beautiful page. /1
