It’s ironic that they’re like “if we do ethnic cleansing we’ll have a high trust neighborly society” and then Minneapolis is literally doing high trust neighborly society and they’re like nooooo
Many Americans are terrible neighbors to each other, and that is why MN is striking everyone as extraordinary activism... when they are telling us that it is not. They're good neighbors!

It's no wonder that "being a shitty neighbor" is the hallmark of our domestic politics and our foreign policy.

Today would be a great day for CNAS, CSIS, Brookings, Atlantic Council, RAND, IDA, CNA, & every veterans’ advocacy group to say an attack on NATO over Greenland would be a crime under US and international law and it would shatter American military capacity for generations.

They won’t say a word.

- the PAFMM is an organization of the state equipped mostly with ostensible fishing boats

- which is different from all the non-PAFMM actual fishing boats who......are responsive to PLA orders

- they've quite literally used the PAFMM to block Filipino movements at Scarborough soooooo
If you want to know what level of hysterical delusion US liberal imperialists are on, take a look at this: Chinese fishing boats *could be used* to disrupt American Navy movements in the South China Sea. It does not get any dumber than this. NYT China desk one of the worst around.
Driving through East China Sea fishing fleets was already one of the most challenging tasks for a ship driver, now this… www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

I have driven warships through East China Sea fishing fleets. They absolutely can be used to disrupt freedom of navigation. I’ve had “fishing vessels” intentionally drive at my ship with the intention to collide (CBDR). This person has no idea what they’re talking about.

Biden enjoyed enormous support from black voters. newsom has no such base
This is how Biden won the primary. It’s like we never learn.

People voting in primaries for who they think will win is how we constantly end up with the worst candidates. It’s literally just going for the most bland possible option, when right now that’s the opposite of what people actually want.
it remains nuts to me that the argument for Newsom is that he's inevitable while he's not even the polling favorite

ICE and MAGA really did bet the farm on all of Minneapolis’s white people going “oh yes, please take away our disgusting, evil non-white-foreigner neighbors, oh thank you so much.”

it’s beautiful that they’ve been proven incredibly wrong about that - may the rest of the country do the same.

A few days ago, Fox News was whining about ICE agents getting heckled at a Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis.

Meanwhile, in the town of Willmar, ICE agents had lunch at a Mexican restaurant, waited until it closed, then confronted and arrested three workers as they left.

Bluesky posters will be like you “you think massive universal legal resistance with total support from the population works? that pales in comparison to my strategy, winning a shootout with an ICE army” and then not win a shootout with an ICE army
Oh my god theyre killing rosa luxemburg again lmao, your failure to engage in armed resistance is speedrunning you towards death camps
There’s no real debate. I have witnessed a very small number of ICE activists advocating for carrying firearms or even trying to agitate by physically striking ICE vehicles, etc. Let’s be clear: the incredibly vast majority of people resisting ICE correctly believe these people are fools.
