MSF Gaza report: This is not aid. This is orchestrated killing
GHF-run food distributions in Gaza are sites of “orchestrated killing and dehumanisation” that must be shut down

When Judith "apologised" for saying teachers earn $147k, she then got another dig in by saying that teachers get 3 months holiday a year. By that measure, do MPs only work on the days parliament is sitting (about 90 days according to Google)? #NZPol

Since 2023, Luxon’s coalition “has repealed, defunded, or delayed dozens of climate initiatives: from electric bus funds to agricultural emissions pricing to subsidies for solar and wind. Officials have been ordered to stop planning for lower car use. Climate scientists have lost their jobs…” #nzpol
The Zero Carbon Act in 2019 represented then-Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's promise to tackle her generation's "nuclear-free moment" head on.

Six years on, analysis (by me) suggests the law has been hollowed out to little more than a husk.

How Jacinda Ardern’s ‘groundbreaking’ climate law has become ‘a shell’
The Zero Carbon Act promised to lock climate ambition into law. But with key policies repealed, delayed or watered down, the once 'world-leading' legislation has become a husk of its former self.

In a country where the average house is $900k, teachers should get paid $140k a year or more tbh. It’s not some kind a snide talking point. Or do you people want teachers to live in cars? If you want teachers to be happy with a $50k salary cause you’re stuck in 1995 then lower the cost of living.

They said we couldn’t attract talent if the salary wasn’t competitive with the private sector so we made it nearly half a million dollars and put a CEO in the job only to have skyrocketing unemployment, record levels of kiwis leaving, and unaffordable food prices. Such talent much quality of life 🙄

Yes.
Coalition MPs keep repeating the lie that Labour left them an economic mess. And it's simply not true.
I wish there was more (any) push back from interviewers and opposition politicians when they say this stuff.

Yup, this is a bit buried by the media

Honestly think it's because the media (at least the owners and senior editors) like National and ACT and want them to win. If Labour or (gasp) the Greens had done anything like this, they'd never stop bringing it up.

Everytime Luxon talks about the $6B in infrastructure spending why isn't he being hounded about the ferry debacle? That would have done more for shoring up trade, getting NZ moving etc by prioritising the strait which is SH1. Spending money on f**king roads that cost more than this vital route.
