#nzpol Pay attention, Aotearoa New Zealand. This one's important because of the global shift to fascism. Can someone in our media directly ask our awful coalition government if they are either already giving access to our biometric information to the US and/or do they intend to do so??

NZers are sick of being treated like serfs by this Govt. Fair pay and conditions for these workers please - stem the outward flow across the ditch. Just talked to too qualified and employed homeowners this week who are leaving as they said it's too hard making ends meet and NZ has lost its soul.

40% of areas chose to keep Māori wards. Some by a wide margin.

A better result than I expected, given the demographics and embedded racism in our country.

In areas that lost, I'd love to know whether the numbers have improved since any previous referendum.

Fact: Hamas offered all the hostages back - alive - in October 2023 on the condition that Israel did not invade Gaza. Israel refused. This was never about the hostages for the Israeli Knesset.
