Luxon unaware of coup attempt.
But there are Known Knowns.
We know there are rumours.
We know people in National are spreading them & discussing them with journos.
We know Bishop has been accused of being behind it, & that some in National want us to think it's all over and Luxon rinsed him.

These are Known. Not much else is.

Exactly this.
#NZPol Just vote Green. This is such bullshit.
Things that Labour will say 'yes' to:
1. We need 120,000 people unemployed (at least) to stop wages going up by too much.
2. Banks can extract $8bn a year in profits, because that's the price we should pay.
3. The market will eventually deliver affordable energy / food / rent - be patient comrades.

@paulapenfold.bsky.social, normally love your work but the item on the Army d*ck pic is clearly a hit job from inside Defence.

If your sources were honest with you, they would be aware of far more blatant breaches/abuses of the uniform and/or being on operations at the time...

I never do sales, but I'm doing a big Christmas sale this year! Shop #kikorangi local, support an artist, and give unique gifts that always hit with their recipient!

Get in and snag bundle deals, marked down tees, and restocked items that were previously sold out: pepperraccoon.com/collections/...

Now is probably the time, if you are interested in one of these.

Get it sent to a US address and repackaged for sending to Aotearoa. I imported a lot of air with mine.

Defo worth the investment...

I think what Uffindell is really projecting is the growing realisation that everyone hates the Nats - and with good reason...

Suck it up, bedleg boy...!
Boards Chair here - before our BOT passed a motion affirming our commitment to Te Tiriti, I received emails from parents and teachers urging the board on.

The union never said a word.

Amazing that reaffirming a commitment to Te Tiriti is viewed as "anti-govt" (his words)

Tangletongue, Todd Tangletongue....
Todd McClay talking with a tangled tongue trying to use semantics to lie his way out of answering questions. The British High Commission is the representative for the UK government here to the NZ government. If they have raised it, that's official.

This government will lie about everything #nzpol

This goes well beyond incompetence.

It is outright corruption.

The next govt's first act should be to resource and let loose the SFO...

Cry havoc....!

Absolutely unacceptable given rising unemployment overall + losing plane after plane of good people offshore!

PSA's Fleur Fitzsimons:

"These figures show that delays in recruitment are a deliberate cost-saving tactic, driven by the government's failure to fund the health system properly."
Wellington Hospitals waiting up to six months for Health NZ approval to recruit
Data obtained under the Official Information Act shows 219 recruitment requests took more than two months to be approved, 91 waited more than 20 weeks, and 45 roles applied for in March were still vac...

Even if you are "old"....or just feel it....
I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

Get ridiculed AF.

Scuttle away.

Yep.

All election campaigns to be government-funded, capped and audited.

Donations limited to $20k TOTAL per candidate including goods and services.

No excuses for non-compliance.
Hang on, is this about NZ or the USA?
This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.
