It's that horrible damp cold in Te Whanganui-a-Tara today, the graveyard clamminess that seeps into your bones, that creeps under your clothes, the feeling of mould edging its way, silently, into your lungs, the wooden shack miasma that never quite seems to dry out

Republicans and their allies have mainstreamed antisemitism for years, only to portray it as a left-wing problem to advance Trump's authoritarian agenda. So why are they feigning shock as it spills into full view?

The problem with 21st century politics and government is the extreme lack of consequences for lying, sedition, and corruption.

It's, so often, clearly documented and evidenced, but nothing happens.

Even in NZ, our MPs are treated me harshly for accusing another of lying than for actually lying.

Same James Cameron who's playing lord of the manor in Aotearoa NZ, taking advantage of our shitty labour laws around film making, making ableist noble savage movies, and is campaigning to make our capital city into a White Boomer nostalgia fest?

It's feeling more and more as if NZ Labour are following UK Labour's tactics, and it's astonishingly daft
Again, Andrew Marr’s comments in late 2023 are always useful in explaining what it is that has happened here: the lads took a big punt on Labour having thought this through, and it turns out that they’d spent 2010-25 mostly feeling sorry for themselves and mouthing off at journalists.

Why are Labours attacks misfiring?

Because Labour support genocide.

Labour protect the power & wealth of the super rich.

And all they do is attack the Green Party.

This poster crosses my path from time to time and it demonstrates a number of things - that long-term planning, informed by environmental factors (in a negative way, maybe), was something the railway could envisage.

You might ask who this ad' by a state railway was aimed at?

Probably the Treasury.

Luxon & Seymour's new laws are a trap. Hidden in the fine print: ratepayers must compensate landowners with cash if environmental rules stop them from developing. It’s your hard-earned money going straight to the wealthy. A kick in the guts. #nzpol thespinoff.co.nz/politics/09-...

A thousand times this
If the project is really to move politics left by presenting a moderate message to get people on board THEN do progressive things (something I have literally been told by multiple Labour strategists), why would you keep drawing angry lines through any idea even *slightly* more radical than your own?
