It is interesting you never see this logic used for gender affirming surgery when cis people do it, which, like everything else to do with transphobia, is completely backwards: you're way more likely to regret something like this if you turn out later to be trans...
If I had had that surgery as I was younger I would deeply regret it. Have they considered sending them to therapists instead? What if they just do it to follow a trend?
