This is basically the view of the world that Plato sets out to refute in the Republic. One of the core questions asked therein is: why do powerful people think the mere fact of them exercising dominion makes it good for them to do so? Sure, you *can* get away with stuff if you're powerful - so what?

ngl, if I didn't have a thesis to work on, I think it'd be neat to write a short speculative fiction story about the financialisation of gender. We've already had stories written about the instrumentalisation of gender for war; what'd happen if people could speculate on your gender via Polymarket?
Fever flared up again, here's the worst gender theory I've ever thought of: Everyone above global median income is man, while everyone below is a woman. Gig workers whose earnings fluctuate around that line are nonbinary. This is the net economic privilege model of gender. It sucks ass.
