“Dems didn’t have a real primary”

“People cared about the economy”

“Biden should’ve stepped down earlier”

“Trump had wealthier benefactors”

“Harris/Biden shouldn’t fund Israel”

All that to me isn’t right; what the 2024 election showed me was that racism and misogyny trumps everything else
When I sit and think about it I still can't really believe they elected him a second time.
I’ll hold my breath, but honestly I’m fairly certain most would be glad to see this happen. I don’t think there’d be much outcry with him being replaced by any real leadership, GOP or Democrat.

That said, if he is replaced, then Dems need to hammer the GOP senators who voted “yea”
(MSNOW) - President Trump is considering removing Kash Patel as FBI director in the coming months, as he and his top aides have grown increasingly frustrated by the unflattering headlines Patel has recently generated, according to three people with knowledge ..

After watching Roofman, I 100% believe that Channing Tatum would be an exceptional choice in ‘The Forever War’ film version that’s been in production for years now

Once again, Trump likes and admires Putin and wants to help him win
Here is Trump's full 28 point plan for Ukraine. It would destroy Ukraine as a sovereign state and leave it helpless to face a Russian attack in the future. It would also give Putin full vindication and immunity from prosecution.

Conservatives (in this case Republicans) hate women, have always hated women, have always made policies to make women 2nd class citizens, and will continue to make women 2nd class citizens

Source: grew up in conservative homeschool circles of NC with now elected state & federal GOP leaders
The DoE has reclassified numerous health professional and other degrees, limiting access to federal student loan programs eligible for the higher OBBBA loan caps from thousands to a few hundred.

As ALWAYS, this is about $$.

We're about to become REALLY "great"...

On a related note a great political strategy for Dem billionaires (if they actually cared about democracy which, let’s face it, not really) would be to buy up, fund & staff local newspapers to cover current events
one of the underrated factors for the rise in scamming across U.S. society is the death of local media.
It gets lost in the shuffle, but the Speaker of the House is someone who, by all rights, should’ve had his career ended a decade ago by a Shreveport TV news investigative team.

Not having read the HP books, nor do I ever intend to, but having seen the films, I feel that Harry Potter is a big downer

It’s always “my parents are dead” like okay we get it

Imagine if I had my MC say every time “I have PTSD” instead of just silently experiencing it; he’d be annoying AF

You do know that everyone in both parties involved with this are going to have to go to prison right ?

Like all of them at a minimum must never be allowed to see freedom again.

Every one must go. It’s essential to the reestablishment of democracy that this entire network must go down.
Finally have confirmation that the 'liked them young' guy who was redacted is indeed Bill Clinton.

I’ll go further;

Not holding Confederates accountable and forgiving them was an enormous mistake that not only led to Nixon’s pardon, but also contributed so much to where we are right now
Pardoning Nixon was an enormous mistake.

The nation did not move on.

Elite accountability was thrown out the window.
Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

I’ve come across people more unqualified for their post (by no means is that an endorsement), but she is also easily the most annoying I think to be in such a position
“I’ve been hearing that standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She also asked openly, ‘What’s the point of standards?’” one CBS source said.

This

I in no way am a humanities or ancient lit expert, but goddamn the takes some of these Neanderthals have are atrocious
My theory is that tech bros hate humanities because they've all tried once to impress a girl studding English Lit by talking about a book and they were all laughed at for their complete misreading of the text.
*maximum alpha at 1.25x speed* continuously lives on in my head, unfortunately.

If Trump was involved in getting this, I also can guarantee you he cut corners and those lobsters taste like shit

That said, yeah this is what we should expect from Conservatives; this is who the modern Conservative is and wants to be
On Saturday, while fighting tooth-and-nail to keep SNAP benefits from going to hungry families, Trump debuted a seafood buffet at Mar-a-Lago with shrimp towers, lobster tails, and loads of caviar.

Congressional republicans have greenlighted his callousness, corruption, and cruelty at every step.

This’ll make the base happy

Of course, his base is that freaking challenged, they very well may put aside their biases and hatred if dear leader says it’s good for them

Again, hook line and sinker

So instead of having a backbone and listening to what the bulk of Americans wanted, he was worried about *checks notes* looking federal employees in the eye or what someone may say to him?

He’s an elected official; he’s supposed to be used to people giving him looks and saying shit to him
Sen. Kaine on his vote for funding deal

“I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct. 1, because I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed federal worker would say to me at church”
November 11, 2025 at 3:11 AM
Let it be known Senator Paul has more backbone than seven Democrats/one independent

I really often don’t like the man, but I’ll give Paul credit where it’s due; he stood up for his constituents while people like Kaine, Shaheen, and Fetterman all betrayed the people they claim to care about
By a vote of 60-40, the Senate passed H.R.5371, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026, as amended.

Democrats/Independent voting in favor: Senators Cortez Masto, Durbin, Fetterman, Hassan, Kaine, King, Rosen & Shaheen

Republican voting no: Senator Paul

You are a fucking idiot if you believe this

She’s gambling on us by the way; she herself has absolutely nothing to lose, she’s gambling our futures, health, and safety on dealing with Republicans
Democratic Senator Shaheen says "Hopefully the Republicans may hear us."

People really need to start considering the fact that suicide rates and depression/mental illness is really going to skyrocket amongst the Millennial and Gen Z demographic. This kind of consistent uncertainty and fear really takes a toll and will only be getting worse

While I had hoped Senate Dems wouldn’t cave before I got this piece out, yet they managed to do so :/

Anyway, here’s my latest on the govt shutdown, why the responsibility for it lays squarely on the GOP & Trump, and why Dems should have kept holding the line
