feel like the trajectory of my own personal twitter journey was that i followed a lot of "extremely online but mostly just posts abstruse memes" accounts in like 2009-2011 but most of them ended up becoming "extremely online and politically engaged" over the next decade
you could actually do a pretty good quadrant plot out of "extremely online and politically engaged," "politically engaged but not extremely online," "extremely online but mostly just posts abstruse memes" etc.
