I really feel like this is something Dems could make BFD about. Kelly, while a centrist who isn't my jam, is also recognizably a Good Guy to your average person, a wife guy whose wife survived an assassination attempt, and an astronaut!

This is spot on — and my biggest fear is that it will become more expensive to learn how to think and a lot cheaper to just use AI. Majoring in the humanities will resurge as a marker of class.
Who invests in critical thinking and who invests in an AI chatbot to help you think will be really telling.

Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪

Looks like the article has been updated to suggest maybe they misread the policy.
I see people complaining that this also disabled their spam filters, though I still see new messages showing up in spam so it's still working fine for me after disabling things.
